Who Pays for
Domestic Delivery?

Some of our new clients have recently asked us about fees associated with domestic shipping. The Luxe Link® — your luxury personal shopping service — is based in New York City, and (for example) when we find a client’s request in San Francisco, the item is shipped across country to our office, before we deliver it across the ocean to our client.

So the short answer: we cover the cost of standard shipping from the retailer to our office!

But once in a while, there are exceptions. Sometimes — when the client would like rushed shipping or for some special orders — we may have to pass the rush shipping charges on to the client.

Rest assured, though, we would never do this without a client’s prior approval! With each order, we provide a detailed summary of costs so the client can make an informed purchase, so there are no surprises. And as always, our service fee is a straightforward 10%. There are never any hidden costs when you use The Luxe Link.
